Shreveport, Louisiana - March, 2011.
Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana recently upgraded the signage on the building at their Kings Highway location. After a bidding process, Ark-La-Tex Superior Signs of Shreveport was awarded the project to fabricate and install the fifteen foot by eighty-five foot illuminated signage. The size of the signs was not the only challenge the company faced but the distance off the ground of one hundred and seventy feet was also an obstacle. A swing stage with an overhead crane was used during installation. The fabrication took approximately two months with installation completed in three weeks. The signs heighten their profile, providing a nice addition to the skyline and can be seen from Interstates 49 and I-20.

Randall Liles President of Ark-La-Tex Superior Signs said, "We are extremely proud of the project and its permanent addition to the Shreveport skyline".
